Mr. Wylie is a proven business leader with 35 years of executive management experience in emerging and global businesses. He has held leadership positions as a general manager, division president, group executive and chief executive officer in both public and private sector companies including IMC, Albany International, Uniroyal, EcoScience and Diomed Holdings. Additionally, Mr. Wylie spent nine years providing strategic advisory and interim CEO services to institutional investors across a broad range of markets and technologies. His market and product line experience includes biotechnology, medical devices, diagnostics and medical service equipment, mobile wireless data communication, commodity and specialty chemicals, polymers, crop protection, and waste management equipment and services.
Mr. Wylie has extensive experience in public and private financing, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, state and federal regulatory affairs, legislative lobbying, media relations, and global operations. He has served on 9 Boards, stimulating change and driving corporate growth. Mr. Wylie holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Bates College and served on active duty as a Lieutenant in the US Navy Reserve.

Mr. McGlynn has been a part of the medical device industry for over 30 years. His experience includes 3.5 years of surgical experience (U.S. Surgical) and product development in Orthopedics and Cardiovascular medicine. Mr. McGlynn began his career in cardiovascular products working with Bentley to produce tubing packs and oxygenators for open-heart procedures and working to build the team of investigators for the St Jude prosthetic heart valve. Prior to BioDirection Mr. McGlynn has consulted with clients from several industries helping them to recognize the needs of the marketplace and succeed in a global market. Mr. McGlynn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Trinity University following Premed studies at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
Dr. Dryga joined BioDirection in 2014 and has extensive experience in building cross-functional R&D teams and leading development of In Vitro diagnostics, reagents and vaccines. Dr. Dryga is an experienced product-development leader with expertise in nano-biotechnology, molecular biology, protein engineering, system integration, and electrical and software engineering.
Prior to joining BioDirection, Dr. Dryga was VP of Immunochemistry at nanoMR, Inc., where he led the development of pathogen capture system for detection of sepsis. He held positions of increasing responsibility at SeraCare LifeSciences, Inc (Director, Virology/Immunology) and Alphavax, Inc. (Director of Analytical Research). Dr. Dryga is an inventor on 11 patents and over 30 patent applications; his work has been published in 16 peer-reviewed articles.
Dr. Dryga has a Masters Degree in BioOrganic Chemistry (NSU, Russia), PhD in Molecular Biology (IMB, Russia) and MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School (UNC). He completed post-doctoral training at Washington University in St. Louis in the lab of Prof. S. Schlesinger, where he studied replication of alphaviruses.
Mr. Bastable has excelled in growing start-up and early-stage companies for over 30 years. He has hands-on experience in product development, manufacturing operations and quality assurance in low- volume, high-value capital equipment as well as high-volume, low-cost medical disposables. He brings extensive involvement in both the technical and business aspects of companies that span multiple market segments: medical device, aerospace, broadcast and industrial automation both internationally and domestically. During the life cycle of these small companies, he has helped drive over a dozen mergers & acquisitions.
Mr. Bastable has specific technical experience with diagnostic medical devices, blood processing devices, micro-fluidics, radio-frequency ultrasonics, space simulation, optical thin films, semiconductor equipment, machine vision automation, optical and mechanical devices. He participated in extensive field application of these technologies including clinical trials and live operating-room training.
Mr. Bastable is a SME Certified Manufacturing Engineer in Product Development and has been certified to teach by the NH Department of Education for a Manufacturing Practices curriculum. He has been awarded three US patents and has been honored with two New Product Innovation Awards. He co-wrote FDA guidance on radiation safety in ophthalmic medical devices. For three years he was also a commissioned fireman with commendations as dive-master for the rescue team he founded.
